Return to Joy:
The Weekend Reset
3-Day Yoga & Adventure Getaway for Women Who Need to Press Pause and Recharge
Portugal
Sesimbra, Portugal
9-11 October 2026
Your weekend begins slowly. You wake up to the sound of birds chirping behind the open window and the smell of fresh coffee. Before morning yoga, you step barefoot onto the grass, feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin. For the first time in a while, your day doesn't begin with emails, notifications or mentally running through tomorrow's to-do list.
Instead, it begins with a deep breath.
If you've been feeling like life has become one long list of responsibilities, this weekend was created for you.
Perhaps your days are filled with meetings, caring for others, running a business, building a career, or simply trying to keep up with everything life asks of you. You tell yourself you'll slow down after the next deadline or busy season, yet when the weekend arrives, you still don't feel truly rested.
That's because the kind of rest you've been craving isn't always found in doing less.
Sometimes it's found in doing the things that make us feel most alive.
Over three days, we'll experience the Seven Types of Rest through yoga, time in nature, adventure, meaningful conversations and simple moments of joy. We'll move our bodies, spend long afternoons outdoors, share delicious meals, laugh with women who quickly stop feeling like strangers, and rediscover the version of ourselves that feels curious, playful and present.
This getaway isn't about escaping your life. It's about pressing reset, so that you return home lighter, clearer, inspired and with a renewed sense of energy for the full life waiting for you.
It's a weekend where you can create more breathing space and remember how good life can feel.

Why you feel like you lost the spark :
Your life isn't falling apart.
In many ways, it's exactly what you wanted. You're building a career, or a business you're proud of, your calendar is full, you're getting things done, and from the outside, things look good, but somewhere along the way, life has started to feel like one long list of responsibilities.
You wake up already thinking about what needs to happen today. Before you've even had breakfast, you've checked your messages, replied to emails, coordinated plans, and started solving problems. You tell yourself you'll slow down after the next deadline, the next launch, the next busy season, but the problem is that moment never really comes. And even when you do have time off, you don't feel rested. You know why?
Because you're not just physically tired. You're mentally carrying a hundred tabs open at once. Emotionally, you've been holding everything together for so long that you've forgotten what it feels like to truly switch off. Somewhere between work, responsibilities and taking care of everyone else, you've stopped making space for yourself. Maybe what you're really missing isn't more sleep. Maybe it's the feeling of laughing until your cheeks hurt; of spending hours outside without looking at your phone; of trying something new, moving your body, having conversations that leave you feeling more curious, and remembering that life isn't only about getting through the week.
You don't need to escape your life. You simply need the kind of rest that helps you come back to it feeling more like yourself again.

What this camp is like:
This is not a retreat for women who want to spend three days wrapped in blankets doing restorative yoga. It's a yoga & adventure camp for women who are mentally overloaded and tired of being ‘the one holding everything together’. If you want both rest AND adventure, you’ve found just the kind of getaway you need.
Most of us think rest means doing less. But true restoration doesn't always come from slowing down. Sometimes it comes from moving your body, spending time in nature, trying something new, laughing until your cheeks hurt, and ending the day feeling more energised than when it began.
This getaway is designed based on the unique method of Seven Types of Rest, where each activity serves the purpose of renewal and reigniting your spark to feel alive again. You can expect a rare combination of yoga, hiking, kayaking, climbing, creative workshops, free beach time, and new inspiring friendships.
True rest doesn't always come from doing less. Sometimes it comes from doing the things that make us feel most alive.

The Seven Types of Rest:
At Return to Joy, we'll experience all Seven Types of Rest your system needs for a full reset and restoration through yoga, nature, adventure, connection and reflection.
1. Rest for your body (Physical Rest)
Through yoga, movement, and time outdoors, you'll release tension, reconnect with your body,
and rediscover the pleasure of moving simply because it feels good.
2. Rest for your mind (Mental Rest)
You will step away from constant decision-making, planning, and notifications to create space to slow the mental chatter and be fully present in the moment.
3. Rest from the noise (Sensory Rest)
We will trade the screens, traffic, and endless information overload for ocean views, fresh air, and green spacious landscapes to give your nervous system a chance to settle.
4. Rest from holding it all together (Emotional Rest)
Take a break from being the strong one. Through honest conversations and supportive space, you'll have permission to lower the guard and feel safe to simply be yourself.
5. Rest with the right people (Social Rest)
You will be surrounded by women who understand, encourage, and inspire you, and find the kind of connection that leaves you feeling replenished rather than drained.
6. Rest through inspiration (Creative Rest)
Together we will explore, create, and try something new. Through nature, workshops and hands-on experiences, you'll reconnect with curiosity, imagination and play.
7. Rest for your soul (Spiritual Rest)
Taking a break from daily responsibilities and the ever-present stimulation of modern life, you'll have the time and space to reconnect with what matters most - to reflect, breathe, and come back to yourself.
Where we'll stay:
Quinta da Pinha, Sesimbra, Portugal
Nestled between the green hills of the Arrábida Natural Park and the Atlantic coastline, Quinta da Pinha offers the perfect setting to step away from everyday routine and immerse yourself in nature. Originally built as an artist's home, the quinta retains its creative spirit through an eclectic blend of rustic charm, retro-modern design, and unique pieces of art found throughout the property. Surrounded by greenery, it encourages for both connection and quiet moments of solitude—whether that's by the pool, under the olive trees, or tucked away with a book in one of its many peaceful corners.
Just minutes from Sesimbra's stunning beaches, dramatic cliffs and crystal-clear waters, Quinta da Pinha provides an inspiring base for our adventures while offering a welcoming space to return to afterwards. The mornings here begin with birdsong and coffee in the garden, afternoons might be spent by the pool or under the shade of a tree, and evenings are for sharing meals, stories and sunsets after a day spent outdoors.
It's the kind of place that quickly makes you forget what day of the week it is.
